In the winter, Orlando’s main attractions are frequently overcrowded, but if you book flights and lodgings well in advance, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful weather.
Temperatures are generally in the mid-70s during the day, but evening lows can drop into the high 40s, so bring a light jacket. Also, arrive early to major theme parks (particularly around the holidays) because they will all stop admitting people once they reach capacity, which can happen as early as midday.
If you visit Orlando in the spring, you’ll enjoy great weather (normal temperatures range from the high 50s to the high 80s) as well as reduced hotel and airline costs. In addition,
for most of the season, theme parks will be less crowded. Though costs and crowds may rise around the Easter and spring break vacations, consider staying in March, when numerous notable events, such as Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras festival and Walt Disney World Resort’s Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, take place.
